Our story ended last week as doctors and nurses were busy waking up Alexander in the hospital while his wife, Esther’s wife, snored beside him.
The nurses asked Esther to come and sit in a chair by the window in the room where Alexander lay while they did their work.
That’s what Esther did, and as the woman sat there watching the doctors and nurses work and trying to see if she knew that something had happened to her twice, he was surprised when Osela pulled in Dr. Taki.
Esther said this, and Taki had already returned home.
The doctor ignored Esther’s wife and went over to the doctor who was caring for Alexander and asked him how Alexander’s man was doing.
The doctor replied that he had started to wake up now and everything was fine without any illness or problem.
Dr. Taki shook his head and asked the doctor who was taking care of Alexander if he could be notified if there were any changes. The doctor agreed, and Taki walked away.
As Taki was about to leave, he saw Esther sitting in a chair by the window. The doctor stood for a while, wondering what to do next. With this in mind, the doctor walked straight to where Esther’s wife was sitting and sat next to her.
“How is my wife?” Esther asked Taki.
“So the doctor said everything was fine. But the sun suddenly rose. Maybe in another 30 minutes he will understand again,” the doctor replied.
“Thank you,” Esther’s wife whispered to the doctor.
Then the couple sat in silence, watching the movements of the doctors and nurses who were busy with Alexander.
The two sat in silence for nearly five minutes, and Dr. Taki said to Esther, “Please tell your wife not to come to my office again. There is nothing else we need to discuss.”
After Taki finished speaking, he stood up and walked out.
But Esther just stared at her back and the door.
