Kathmandu, June 15. On the occasion of Paddy Day, the team including actor Rajesh Hamal celebrated Ropai Utsav at Khokna in Lalitpur on Saturday.
During the festival, which was hosted by the agriculture reality show Krantikari Krishi Yudh (Raw), Hamal’s team also participated in a rope pulling competition in the mud. During the festival, actor Hamal also cultivated the fields with the farmers.
Applications are also open for a reality show on the occasion of Paddy Day. Commercial farmers and students with BSc AG or similar degrees can apply to participate in the reality show.
Sagar Bhattarai of Revolutionary Agri War said that the show will have 16 programmes on different subjects and the jury will evaluate the performance of the participants. Among the judges are former secretary of the Agriculture Department Dr. Yogendra Kumar Karki, agricultural economist Dr. Namrata Pandey and other subject experts will stay.
The project’s winning farmers and technicians will receive at least 1 million in cash and other supplies.
