Kathmandu. Indian singer Alka Yagnik suffers from rare neurological problem. In a post on Instagram, Alka informed that she suffers from a rare sensorineural hearing problem.
In that post, she also mentioned that she had been missing for a while due to the same reason. “It was such a sudden and huge shock and I’m still trying to get over it,” she said.
Alka shared the post and wrote, “To all my fans, friends, followers and well-wishers. A few weeks ago, when I stepped off a plane, I suddenly realized that I couldn’t hear a thing. Doctors diagnosed me with a rare condition called sensorineural hearing loss due to a viral attack. It was a sudden and huge shock that caught me completely off guard. I am trying to recover from it. With the love and support from all of you, I hope to reorganize my life and be back with you all soon.”
Fans were concerned after learning about Alka’s latest health update. They took to social media to wish him all the best.
Alka also asked to be careful not to be exposed to loud music and headphones.
