At approximately 2:30 a.m. on Friday, June 14, 2024, the Richfond Police Department received a report of a shooting at Grand Ravine in Dennery. The incident tragically resulted in the death of a male resident in the area.
Detectives arrived and found an unresponsive male victim with apparent gunshot wounds. A doctor confirmed the victim’s death at the scene. The victim has been identified as Destor Samuel, aka “Dexter,” 41, of Canyon Denilly.
The case has been referred to the Major Crimes Unit for a thorough investigation.
