On Wednesday, June 12, 2024, the Board of Directors of the Women’s Mutual Aid Association of the Republic of San Marino met at its registered office in via Tonnini.
This was the inaugural meeting of Alba Baredi, recently appointed President by the General Assembly of the Association, who introduced herself to the Board of Directors and the Audit Committee, effectively officially starting her term. In her speech of thanks, President Baredi recognized the work done by former President Oletta Orlandoni and the previous Board of Directors and expressed her hope that the activities carried out so far will not be wasted, as she considers this to be a decisive point in her plan. A new Council was born under the banner of the Council “News and Continuity”continuing the work of the previous Board, but looking to introduce new incentives and targets for the challenges affecting the Association.
The new Board of Directors appointed the following institutional positions:
Lea Fiorini – Vice President;
Gioia Giardi – Secretary;
Gioele Santi – Treasurer;
Internal positions were assigned to Councillors Aurora Cherubini; Romana Pascali;
Floriana Soleciti; Pier Luigi Renzi; Antonella Passerini.
