The composite price index closed at 1,438.44 units, down 0.88%, while the intraday high price was 1,457.35 units (+0.42%) and the low price was 1,438.24 units (-0.90%). The stock market transaction volume reached 85.34 million euros, and the number of traded shares was 19,322,507 shares.
The large-cap index fell 0.85%, while the mid-cap index fell 0.98%.
Among large-cap stocks, the biggest gainers were OPAP (+1.50%), Sarantis (+0.72%) and Titan (+0.49%).
Conversely, the biggest decliners were Ethniki (-2.42%), Mytileneos (-2.08%), Piraeus (-1.57%) and GEK TERNA (-1.44%).
Eurobank and Alfa Bank had the largest trading volumes, with 5,853,696 and 5,047,359 shares traded, respectively.
The highest transaction amounts were recorded by Eurobank (€12.64 million) and Nationalbank (€8.86 million).
27 stocks rose, 84 stocks fell, and 7 stocks remained stable.
The biggest gainers were stocks: Akritas +22.45% and Progressive +9.52%.
The biggest losers were stocks: Leventeris (k) -10.39% and Frigoglass -10.00%.
