Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi stressed at an event that while many countries voted for change this year, Indians chose continuity, political stability and economic growth.
Modi stressed that the rise of the new middle class has driven India’s development, and declared that India is writing a unique success story, and that India’s reforms have significantly improved its economic performance. He called on global investors to seize opportunities in India, promising a stable policy system, continuous reforms and high growth, while urging innovation and high-quality production.

The prosperity of the world depends on the prosperity of India, he said, adding that the Indian government wants more companies to become global brands and India to become a leader in various fields.
He promised investors convenience, reform, a stable policy system and high growth, and asked investors to commit to innovation, improved performance, positive disruption and high-quality products.
He described the third decade of this century as an era of India’s “take-off” which would benefit everyone. “India today is a land of opportunities,” he added.
“India today is the biggest land of opportunities in the world. We respect wealth creators,” Modi said, insisting that India believed in innovation, inclusiveness and international cooperation.
The opposition has frequently criticised his government for its reduced majority in recent elections, but he insisted that his government has begun its third term with stronger intentions and is as hopeful and confident as the country’s citizens.
“Less than 100 days into our third term, our government has taken major decisions for the poor, women, youth and farmers,” he said.
Modi said the Indian government is working to make India a global healthcare hub, noting that the number of medical seats in India has increased to 100,000 from 60,000 previously in the past 10 years. He said that in the next five years, India will add 75,000 medical seats.
He also highlighted efforts to enhance the profile of India’s tourism industry and make it a global food basket, adding that he was determined to ensure that ‘Made in India’ products were available on every table across the world.
