“The two leaders will sign a bilateral security agreement that makes clear that our support will continue well into the future,” U.S. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan told reporters on Wednesday as he traveled to Italy to meet with Biden.
The G7 meeting, attended by leaders including Biden, French President Emmanuel Macron and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, will be held June 13-15 at the luxurious Borgo Egnazia hotel in southern Italy’s Puglia region.
