A Douglas man is facing trial after denying possessing obscene images of children.
The man cannot be identified after Tynwald Council introduced new laws in March to protect the identities of suspected sex offenders.
He denied having a photo in his possession, which is at the lowest level of the police hierarchy.
He was released on bail and is due back in court on Oct. 24 for a pretrial review hearing.
