The first study to identify potential changes to the country’s devolution system was released today.
The research was conducted by the Maldives National University (MNU).
The research was published today and presented by eight members of the team that conducted it.
The study was conducted on behalf of MNU. A total of 1,155 people were interviewed in the North, Central and South regions.
To answer the research questions, the National University of Mongolia team selected people from various regions by visiting relatively small and medium-sized villages.
The aim of this study is to identify the perceptions, challenges and impacts of devolution in order to determine the amendments needed to the Devolution Act.
