Biratnagar, September 9. A book on Bise Nagarchi has been published by the author Dipendraraj Timsina, who is a consultant to Prithvi Narayan Shah. The author has researched and published the book on Nagarchi, “Gumnam Ek Itihisa Bise Nagarchi”.
Timsina said he researched his family and birthplace in Gorkha and published his history.
Author Timsina said he published the book after studying the documents, red seals and other materials provided by the government of the time to the children of Bisnagarchi. In the documents of different periods, there is such a history that during the two attacks on Nuwakot, Prithvi Narayan Shah, who was worried after the defeat, gave the right advice at the right time and won the war.
Prithvi Narayan Shah, who was defeated in the Nuwakot attack, wanted to buy weapons. But there was no money in the treasury at that time. Bise Nagarchi, who was playing the role of Nagara in the palace at that time, advised Prithvi Narayan Sah to seek support from all Gorkha families. Based on the same advice, he took the money and bought the weapons.
Timsina says that she studies the respect that the nation has for its citizens who give correct suggestions for the unity of the nation. Bise is said to have been born in 1746 and died in 1828. Bise Nagarchi was a supporter of the Gurkha faction and participated in several war fronts. This book is the 12th book written by Timsina.
