Kathmandu. Nepal equalised against Yemen in the second round of the joint qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup and 2027 AFC Asian Cup. Sanjeev Bisht equalised for Nepal in the 22nd minute of the match in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.
Earlier, Nasser Al Gawasi scored a penalty kick in the 8th minute to help Yemen take the lead.
This was Nepal’s first goal in the second qualifying round of Group H. In the previous five games, they failed to score when Nepal was defeated.
