Starbucks CEO Brian Niccol announced that he would not change his residence and would instead fly 1,000 miles three times a week to Starbucks headquarters.

Social media users heavily criticised Brian Nicol’s statement, saying that now the environment will not be harmed.

Remember, Starbucks gave up using plastic straws 6 years ago to reduce damage to the environment.

Brian Nicol lives in California. He has resigned from his position to live in Seattle. They commute from Newport Beach to Seattle three days a week. For this he will use a private business jet.

Many social media users have expressed the blatant hypocrisy of encouraging us to use paper straws instead of plastic ones, claiming that doing so will reduce environmental damage and that we are planning to fly three times a week and travel 1,000 miles. Wouldn’t that harm the environment?
