The 3-year-old seal of the DP allegedly belongs to the Reconstruction Bloc led by Sali Berisha. Meanwhile, Lulzim Basha, referring to the registration of political parties, was recognized as the legitimate chairman of the Democratic Party, making the party’s seal and symbol controlled by him and his supporters, the so-called Official Democratic Party.
