The 6th Asian Indoor Martial Arts Games in Bangkok and Chonburi, Thailand, have been cancelled.

The Olympics were to be held in Thailand from November 21 to 30. The main reason for the cancellation of the Olympics was that the Games could not be completed within the deadline. The decision was made after an emergency meeting of the Executive Committee of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA).

The Maldives Olympic Committee said the decision of the Olympic Council of Asia may disappoint athletes and fans, but the Olympic Committee welcomed the decision of the Olympic Council of Asia to maintain the dignity and quality of this level of competition.

Saudi Arabia has been awarded the opportunity to host the Olympics. The IOC said in a statement that the dates for the IMAG in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, will be announced in the coming days. Riyadh is also scheduled to host the Islamic Solidarity Games (ISG) next year.

The last time it was held in Turkmenistan was in 2017, when 37 athletes from Sri Lanka competed in five events. Sri Lanka participated in five sports: football, billiards, swimming, chess and indoor athletics.
