Floods, landslides and other disasters killed 190 people in two months

Kathmandu, August 3. 190 people have died in floods and landslides in two months.

According to Nepal police, various disasters in the Kathmandu Valley have caused the death of three people, including 27 in Kosi, 8 in Madhesh, 32 in Bagmati, 56 in Gandaki, 36 in Lumbini, 13 in Karnali and 15 in Sudurpasham.

238 people were injured across the country. They were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, police said. Police also rescued 114 people who were in danger due to the disaster. 49 people were missing due to floods and landslides across the country. Police said the search for them was continuing.

The landslides damaged 327 houses, 112 sheds, 51 bridges, four schools and two government offices.

852 animals and four-legged creatures died. Police said 400,819 families were displaced by the disaster during that period.
