Social platform X announced on Saturday that it would withdraw from Brazil following the latest measure of Supreme Federal Court (STF) judge Alexandre De Moraes, who ordered the company to deactivate the accounts of users who the judge considered to be spreading inaccurate content. The social media network, formerly known as Twitter, also explained that the controversial judge had also issued an arrest warrant for X’s representative in Brazil, who refused to comply with his request.
