Kathmandu, August 3. Mobile services in the Khumbu rural district of Solukhumbu that were disrupted due to floods have been restored.
On July 32, the Khumbu Power Company was damaged and power supply was interrupted due to flooding caused by the Snow Lake bursting. As a result, Nepal Telecom’s mobile services in the area were interrupted.
According to the telecom, BTS towers in Khumbu, Namche, Khumjung and Pani Tank areas were shut down due to power supply problems.
According to the telecom, telephone and internet services have been restored after these BTS towers became operational.
