An operation by the Riccione Carabinieri has resulted in the arrest of a 24-year-old Moroccan man living in Milan, accused of drug trafficking. The man was found supplying marijuana and cocaine to two young tourists who bought cigarettes from a vending machine. After reaching a bench in Via D’Annunzio to end the conversation, the three were surrounded by radio-controlled mobile suits.
During the inspection, one tourist was found with several grams of marijuana, which he had recently purchased for €10. With the help of Ziko, a drug-sniffing dog from the local police in Riccione, more drugs were found: 14 grams of marijuana hidden behind a nearby hedge, and five doses of cocaine that the 24-year-old had thrown on the ground before being stopped.
The young drug dealer was arrested and taken to a military barracks, where he must now answer charges for drug dealing.
