Azad Kashmir: Ramadan is considered one of the five pillars of Islam and Muslims across the world observe fasting from dawn to dusk.
Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar.
In Pakistan, Ramadan started on April 25, 2020. The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee has taken up the task of observing the Ramadan moon.
India’s Union Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry said that as per the lunar calendar, the new moon will be seen on April 24.
