The weather in the country is expected to be mainly cloudy with thundershowers today.
The Met Office said rain is expected in parts of the country today.
Winds will be between 18 and 28 mph in the central and northern provinces and between 15 and 25 mph in the southern provinces. Winds in the clouds will be 50 mph.
Meanwhile, oceans across the country will be strong.
The weather is bad during this period. As of 8 am today, a yellow alert has been issued from Haflong Atoll to TH Province.
