Are you planning a trip to an amusement park? Here’s how much tickets cost for a family of four in different parts of Finland – Home

Primary school students The summer holidays have just begun and as part of their vacation, families may be planning to visit different amusement parks in Finland.

However, the tight economy has limited many families’ summer vacation plans. A traditional summer trip to an amusement park can be an expensive investment, as in addition to wristbands and tickets, you’ll also need to spend money on food, etc.

We investigated the cost of visiting different amusement parks for a family of four (i.e. two adults and two children).

Linnanmäki: 164–204 EUR

Anyone who wants to visit Linnanmäki, Finland’s oldest amusement park, in Helsinki will have to buy a wristband for 51 euros this year. The age and height of the customer no longer matter, but all customers pay the same wristband price.

After 6pm you can access the device using a cheaper wristband for €41.

The price of the bracelet has increased by four euros since last year. Linnanmäki’s Director of Marketing and Communications Kitty Freeman Justification for the March price increase yes: Willing to pay amusement park workers competitive wages.

Freeman added that the park supports child protection efforts every year.

“We have increased our prices so that we can secure the conditions to grow our business and ensure support for our child protection work,” Freeman said.

Linnanmäki is maintained and developed by the Children’s Day Foundation.

Entrance to Linnanmäki is free.

For a family of four, visiting Linnanmäki with the wristbands would cost a total of 204 euros.

Särkänniemi: 108–180 EUR

Särkänniemi in Tampere sells everyday wristbands based on dynamic pricing, meaning the price is determined by demand.

The price for buying a wristband for the rides, which gives access and use of the rides, is €45. You can get a cheaper price by buying the wristband on a pre-selected date.

So, looking at the beginning of June, the cheapest price for the month is 32 euros. In July, the prices are between 35 and 41 euros. In August, when the schoolchildren’s holidays are coming to an end, the price drops to 27 euros in some places.

Children under 3 years old can enter the area and rides for free.

For a family of four, the price is 180 Euros if the wristbands for Särkänniemi’s entertainment equipment are purchased on site.

Travel expenses: 106–160 EUR

Tykkimäki in Kouvola sells bracelets according to length. For the youngest member of the family (ie less than 120 cm tall), the bracelet costs 33 euros; for taller customers, it costs 40 euros.

From 4pm onwards the trip to Tykkimäki may be cheaper, with fares between 23€ and 30€, depending on the length.

Admission to Tykkimäki is free.

For a family of four with children under 120 cm tall, the Tykkimäki wristband costs around 146 euros.

PowerPark: 118-176 EUR

PowerPark in Alahärmä in Southern Ostrobothnia calls itself an amusement park and, like Tykkimäki, sells wristbands by length. The price is 34 euros for visitors under 130 cm and 44 euros for those over 130 cm. The wristband includes the entrance fee to the amusement park.

In the evening you can also go to the PowerPark for the last three hours at a cheaper price. The evening entertainment costs 27 euros for visitors under 130 cm tall and 32 euros for taller visitors.

Tickets for the PowerPark can also be purchased separately. They cost 8€ for adults and 5€ for children and seniors.

If the children in the family are under 130 cm tall, a family of four can spend a day at Powerpark with a wristband for 156 euros.

Moominworld: 148–164 EUR

Moominworld in Naantali sells a number of different ticket options. Ticket prices vary depending on where you buy your ticket, when you visit and the size of your family.

A one-day ticket costs 39 euros when purchased online and 41 euros at the gate.

Children under 2 years old enter Moominworld for free.

A family of four can buy a four-person family ticket for 148 euros cheaper than a single-day ticket.

Puhamad: 124 Euros

Puuhamaaha is located in Tervakoski and is accessible with a day ticket for 31 euros. The same price applies to children aged 3 and over, and children aged 0-2 are free.

For a family of four, with children over 3 years old, a day in Puuhamaa costs 124 euros.

Nokkakivi Amusement Park: 104-120 Euros

At Nokkakivi amusement park in Lievestuorea in central Finland, wristbands are purchased based on length. Wristbands cost 22 euros for visitors under 100 centimeters tall and 30 euros for those over 1 meter tall.

You can also buy a one-way ticket to Noukakivi for 6 euros.

If the child is less than 100 centimeters tall, the wristbands for a family of four will cost 104 euros in total. If the child is over one meter tall, the total cost for the family is 120 euros.

JukuPark Water Park: 88–100 Euros

Compared to other similar destinations, Kalajoki JukuPark focuses on water activities, with several water slides and swimming pools.

You can buy a one-way ticket for JukuPark online for €23 or at the ticket office for €25.

A family of four can buy a family ticket to the park online for 88 euros. If purchased in the park, the ticket costs 95 euros.

Vishulahti: 116 EUR

In Visulahti in Mikkeli you can use a €29 wristband to enter the adventure and water park, the indoor playground and the wax cabinet.

Children aged 0-2 years old can visit Visulahti for free.

For a family of four, tickets to Vishulahti cost 116 euros.

Zooland: 112 EUR

Zoolandia is located in Liedo near Turku. It features a petting zoo, amusement park equipment and a petting zoo.

Zoolandia admission wristbands cost 28 euros. Children aged 0-2 years old can also enter Zoolandia for free.

A wristband for a family of four to go to Zoolandia costs 112 euros.
