India’s journey to independence was born out of a deep desire for self-rule and justice after nearly two centuries of oppression and denial of fundamental rights.
Visionary leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru and Subhas Chandra Bose played a crucial role in the struggle through civil disobedience and unwavering determination. Their sacrifice and dedication ultimately ensured India’s liberation.
Independence Day is celebrated across the country with flag-raising ceremonies, lively parades, musical performances, and community events.
