Drivers planning to use the A13 this weekend should check their journeys carefully as speed restrictions and closures will be in place around the Mondorf Tunnel.

The roadworks will begin at 7.30pm on Friday and are expected to be completed around 5am on Monday.

The A13 will operate in a two-way mode between the Mondorf Interchange and the Mondorf Tunnel, with one lane in each direction. The speed limit will be 70 km/h.

Traffic coming from the N16 onto the A13 towards Esch-sur-Alzette will be diverted from the Mondorf interchange via the N16 and the Altwies interchange.

Construction preparations could begin hours before the official time, so drivers could experience disruptions as early as Friday afternoon.
