After the detention hearing, bail will be ordered or sent to jail.
The district prosecutor’s office filed a case against him in the Kathmandu District Court on Tuesday.
Based on the investigation report prepared by the police, the Kathmandu District Court filed a case of fraud and organized crime against Jia.
Jha, in his statement in the charge sheet filed in court, claimed that he was not aware of the fake Bhutanese refugee case. He gave a denial statement to the police in the presence of the prosecutor.
He said he knew nothing about the fake Bhutanese refugee case.
During the investigation, the police also seized a check worth 10 million yuan. Beshan said he was not aware of this either.
