The German Development Cooperation Agency, through the GIZ project “NDC-TEC” in Saint Lucia, is looking for:

Communications Specialist (Male/Female/Other)

Required personal data:

A degree in Communications/Public Relations, or in a related field such as Climate Change, Energy or Transport, Public Administration or (Climate) Economics,

Candidates must be citizens of Saint Lucia or be allowed to work legally in the country,

At least 4 years of professional experience in the field of communications (media and PR work, journalism, internal communications, lobbying or similar),

Previous experience working in a development agency or government is an advantage.

Experience in event and project management, stakeholder coordination in a climate or development context; editing experience, experience writing articles and press releases,

Experience in developing communications strategies

Experience working in areas related to climate change, sustainable infrastructure (energy, transport) and development is an advantage.

Fluent English. German and Spanish preferred.

Excellent organizational, consulting and management skills

Ability to work in a multicultural team and demonstrate personal independence/initiative,

Valid driver’s license or willingness to obtain a driver’s license.

Working time limit: November 2024 – December 2026
