A driver found an injured e-scooter rider in Reims on Monday afternoon. The man suffered serious head injuries and died in hospital a short time later.
Reims – A tragic accident occurred in Reims on Monday: At around 3:35 p.m., a driver reported an accident. He said he found an e-scooter operator lying on the ground with serious injuries. The driver, other road users and the emergency services who were subsequently alerted provided first aid until the emergency doctor arrived.
After initial treatment at the scene, the seriously injured man was taken to the Innsbruck clinic by the rescue team. However, the injured man died later in the afternoon due to severe head injuries. The deceased was a 39-year-old Austrian citizen. As of now, no witnesses to the accident have been identified, so the specific cause of the accident is still unclear.
