The ocean is the best hope for economic prosperity, says Mohamed Mu’izoo.

He stated this in an article published on the occasion of World Oceans Day.

President Dr. Mohammed Muizue in an article on Ocean Day said the importance of the Dhivehi Sea on the world map, their natural beauty and the treasures in the sea are the best hope for economic prosperity.

Of course, 99% of the country’s territory is ocean, and the current government’s goal is to fully exploit the sea and its resources and attract investment.

The President said the government is confident of the success of this endeavour and will provide green opportunities to companies looking to invest in the sector to add value to fish in Dhaka.
