Hisadhu North MP Ibrahim Nazir, the minority leader in parliament, said the People’s National Council would not guarantee the rights of the people.

Nazir said at a press conference today that the Democratic Party will always be with the people.
Nazir said it was clear that the People’s National Council had not ensured the rights of the people with an absolute majority.
The names of MDP Vikaradu MP Hussain Ziad, Hithadu South MP Ibrahim Nazil, Kendu MP Mauroof Zakir and Keyodu MP Mohammed Niushad were announced in the House today.
