Police raided a “rave party” held at a flat in Uttar Pradesh and arrested 39 college students, some of whom were minors, an official said on Saturday.A police spokesperson said police received information about a “rave party” being held at Supernova Housing Complex in Sector 39 of Noida on Friday night.
The official said a team reached the spot and detained 39 students of a prominent university. Police said the detained students were aged between 16 and 20.
A large number of liquor bottles and hookahs, etc., bearing Haryana labels, were seized from the party, the official said. “During interrogation, we found that the students were invited to the party through WhatsApp. The entry fee was Rs 500 per person and Rs 800 per couple,” the spokesperson said, adding that a case has been registered for investigation.
