The Maldives Customs Department will send 30 officials to India for training.
Indian Ambassador to Sri Lanka Munu Mahal handed over the certificates to officials at a ceremony held at the Customs headquarters yesterday.
The customs officials will be trained at the National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes and Narcotics (NACIN) in Parasamudram.
The training time is scheduled from the 29th of this month to the 2nd of next month.
More than 200 customs officials have completed online training in India.
