The 36th Macau International Music Festival will kick off on October 4 at the Cultural Centre Grand Theater, opening with Puccini’s classic opera “Tosca”.

A tale of passion and jealousy, Tosca is presented by Russia’s Mariinsky Theatre under the direction of Valery Gergiev, the renowned conductor who is also general manager of Moscow’s legendary Bolshoi Theatre.

According to the Cultural Affairs Bureau, tickets for the 36th Macau International Music Festival will be available for sale through the Macau Ticketing Network from August 18, and the early bird discount will be valid until August 25.
