Kathmandu, July 30. Twenty cricketers will participate in the Godavari Steel Cricket League organized by Veterans 40.
At a press conference on Wednesday, the 20 participating teams were divided into four groups, with five teams in each group.
The tournament will begin on August 1 at the Greater Himalayan Cricket Academy indoor cricket venue in Lalitpur.
Group A includes Nepal Bank, Lakshmi Sunrise Bank, IME Group, Prabhu Bank, and Saliko Bank. Group insurance includes Jagdamba Group, NIC Asia, United Azod, Lumbini Bikas Bank, and Cloud Factory.
Company Secretary Anil Bertaula said the group boundaries are ICFC Finance, Dogma Group, Sanima Insurance, Quist Firma, SBI Bank Nepal, while Group D includes KIEC, National Commercial Bank, Prime Bank, Ambe Group and Employees Provident Fund.
At a press conference on Wednesday, it was announced that the best player, best batsman and best bowler of the tournament will receive travel packages to Thailand.
According to the organizers, the total budget of the competition is Rs 28.074 lakh.
