138 people were awarded the Dhvehi National Service Award.
The National Awards Committee determines the nominees for the Dhivehi National Service Award. The committee consists of the Chairman.
The National Awards Committee decided to award 138 people.
Of the 138 officials, 70 were sent by the President and have served for more than 43 years.
This year’s awards will be presented at an official ceremony at the Social Centre on the evening of Friday 26 July, to mark this year’s Independence Day.
The Dhivehi State Service Award is an honorary award given to employees who have served the Dhivehi State for more than 35 years in recognition of their able and sincere contribution to the growth of the institution.
