The Zambia Police Service announces with deep regret the tragic death of Assistant Commissioner of Police, Mr Danny Mwale, who was serving as the Deputy Public Relations Officer. Mr Mwale passed away today, August 30, 2024, following a short illness.
Mr Mwale was a highly respected and dedicated police officer whose professionalism and devotion to duty won him wide admiration within and outside the force. His significant contributions, particularly in the area of public relations, have left an indelible mark on the Zambia Police Service.
The Inspector General of Police, on behalf of the entire Zambia Police Service, extends his deepest condolences to Mr Mwale’s family at this sad time. Our thoughts and wishes are with them as they endure this great loss.
Details regarding funeral arrangements will be announced in due course. The Zambia Police Service remains committed to providing full support to Mr Mwale’s family during their period of mourning.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.
