MANILA, Philippines — Filipino gymnasts, led by two-time Olympian Carlos Yulo, arrived at the Olympic Village in France ahead of the Paris Summer Olympics, which officially opens on Friday (Saturday Manila time).
The Olympic Village is expected to accommodate more than 14,000 athletes.

Yulo, 24, is one of the first Filipino athletes to compete in the Paris Olympics, along with boxer Eumir Marcial and rower Joanie Delgaco.
The Philippines has a total of 22 betting outlets participating in nine sports events in Paris.
Levi Jung-Ruivivar is a member of the Philippine Olympic gymnastics team.
Yulo, the 2019 world champion in floor exercise and 2021 world champion in vault, is looking to bounce back on the Olympic stage after failing to live up to expectations at the Tokyo Olympics three years ago.
