MANILA, Philippines – Classes in parts of the Philippines have been suspended since Monday, September 2, due to the impact of Tropical Storm Enten.
The list of areas where classes are suspended is as follows:
- Metro Manila
- Caloocan City – All levels (public and private)
- Las Piñas City – Face-to-face classes at all levels (public and private)
- Malabon City – All levels (public and private)
- Mandaluyong City – All levels (public and private)
- Manila – Face-to-face classes at all levels (public and private)
- Marikina City – All levels (public and private)
- Muntinlupa City – All levels (public and private)
- Navotas City – All levels (public and private)
- Paranaque City – All levels (public and private)
- Pasay City – All levels (public and private)
- Pasig – All levels (public and private)
- Quezon City – All levels (public and private)
- San Juan City – All levels (public and private)
- Taguig City – All levels (public and private)
- Valenzuela – Face-to-face classes at all levels (public and private)
- Cavite Province – All levels, public and private
- Naga City, Camarines Sur – All levels, public and private

According to the National Weather Service’s 5 p.m. bulletin, 16 areas are currently under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 1:

Meanwhile, Enten was estimated to be 100 kilometers northeast of Catarman, Northern Samar, or 115 kilometers east-southeast of Virac, Catanduanes, as of 4 p.m.
Maximum sustained winds near the center are 55 kilometers per hour (kph), with gusts up to 70 kph.
Enten is moving toward the northwest at 15 km/h.
