Landscaping works at the historical baths began in 2022 under the supervision of the Yozgat Museum Administration and have now been completed.
Hot spring water, which had been out of service for two years, has returned to the swimming pool, and a new lighting system gives the bathing area a different look at night.
“Under the coordination of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and with the efforts of our friends, we have completed the restoration work, site layout, lighting work, and watering of the baths’ pools. Our tourists can visit them both during the day and at night to see the historical spectacle there,” said Provincial Governor Mehmet Ali Özkan. “The most important thing is to provide water for the pools. I want to thank all those who contributed,” he said.

“It’s really beautiful here. We came here last year but it wasn’t open yet, so we were able to visit it this year,” said Ertuğrul Yalçın, one of the visitors to the historic baths. He said he came to the Boğazlıyan district from Germany for vacation.
One of the tourists, Gökhan Gökalp, explained that he lives in France and came to Yozgat on vacation with his family. “These places were not like this a few years ago. A good job has been done. They have built sitting and walking areas. It’s very good.”
