Chinese President Xi Jinping stressed the importance of modernizing China’s border, coastal and air defenses.
Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, President of the People’s Republic of China, and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, delivered an important speech at the Political Bureau meeting of the Communist Party of China Central Committee on Tuesday.
The meeting was held on the eve of the Army Day on August 1. After Chairman Huang’s speech, Xi Jinping pointed out that promoting the construction of a modern border, sea and air defense system is an inseparable requirement for national defense and military modernization, and will help promote the construction of a strong country and Chinese-style modernization.
