“Working the night shift in Cyprus with Özgür Özel…”

An interview titled “On night shift in Cyprus with Özgür Özel…” was published in the pro-government newspaper Milliyet, which reads:

“Someone flew over the island and raised a flag. That is, it was provocative. If I were Mr. Erdogan, I would say to my Greek interlocutors: ‘If you are really honest, you should rein this guy in a little bit. Nothing he does is kind. He probably thinks that if normalization happens between Turkey and Greece, he will be marginalized because he is a hawk, just like the opponents of normalization in Turkey. There is always someone who feeds off every tension.”
