Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban spoke highly of Türkiye and President Erdogan.
Orban, who was traveling to Washington to attend a NATO member state summit in the United States, issued a statement on his meeting with President Erdogan.
Viktor Orban said that Turkey has proven to be the main actor in establishing peace in Ukraine and President Erdogan is the only head of state who can reach an agreement with Russia and Ukraine.
Orban recalled that after taking over the interim leadership of the European Union, his country first visited Ukraine, then Russia and China.
Viktor Orban stressed that during the meeting with Erdogan, the losses caused by the war in Ukraine were discussed.
“I ask President Erdogan to support our peace policy,” Orban said.
