Wolves defender Hugo Bueno will join Dutch top-flight side Feyenoord on a season-long loan, the Premier League club said on Tuesday.
The 21-year-old Spaniard made his debut for Wolves in 2022 and has gone on to make 48 appearances for the club in all competitions.
Feyenoord finished second in the Eredivisie, thus qualifying for the Champions League. Bueno’s contract with Wolves runs until 2028.
“Some may think we are shorthanded but we have plenty of players who can cover this area of the pitch and it is hugely important for us and for Hugo to be out there and playing,” Wolves sporting director Matt Hobbs said in a statement.
Wolves begin their Premier League campaign at Arsenal on Saturday.
