Iconic Jamaican roots reggae exponent Burning Spear will perform in Harare on October 18 as part of his much-anticipated One People Tour Africa.
The show, which will take place at the Grammes Arena, is sponsored by the Sound System Club and Friends of Jamaica.
He confirmed the tour in a promotional video that has now gone viral.
“On October 18, 2024, in Zimbabwe, I, Burning Spear and the Burning Band, will be there…,” the reggae singer said in the promotional video.
The veteran reggae singer will travel to Harare after performing at Uhuru Park in Nairobi, Kenya on October 12.
After the Nairobi event, he will travel to Harare for a performance on October 18.
Burning Spear will then fly to South Africa for another show at Emperors Palace in Johannesburg on October 19th.
Cape Town fans should get ready, as the singer will once again stop by Mhudi Wines Farm on October 20 for another performance.
Burning Spear is one of the respected Jamaican stars with a huge fan following in Zimbabwe and beyond.
His visit is good news for the reggae music scene, which is eager to go international.
