The corruption report found that the cabinet remained dominant and parliament was weak.

A new report on corruption by Transparency International recommends the creation of a public register of beneficial ownership of New Zealand companies, trusts and limited partnerships.

This is one of a series of recommendations to strengthen New Zealand’s anti-corruption capabilities.
