Libreville, Saturday, June 22, 2024 (Infos Gabon) – Raymond Ndong Sima provided a detailed report on the conclusions of the Inclusive National Dialogue (DNI) held in Angonje from April 2 to 30, 2024, which was categorized into one thousand (1000) recommendations and two thousand one hundred (2100) actions.

Noting that some of the proposals that emerged from this meeting, in particular those concerning the acquisition of Gabonese citizenship and nationality and those concerning the conditions for the eligibility of the President of the Republic, will be the subject of a reformulation, he outlined the conclusion of the Director of National Intelligence that “the Constitution was looked at forty-seven (47) times.

According to the Prime Minister, one hundred and fifty-nine (159) decrees need to be enacted, fifteen (15) organic laws, two hundred and thirty (230) general laws, seventy-seven (77) orders, seven ( 7) circulars issued, thirty-one (31) reform actions undertaken, forty-four (44) audits conducted, and fourteen (14) partnership contracts recommended.

The Head of Government explained that in addition to the twenty-three (23) actions to be taken related to public procurement, there are thirty-four (34) actions related to public works and one thousand four hundred and nineteen (1419) others. This brings the total to two thousand one hundred actions to be carried out.

However, Raymond Ndong Sima wished to clarify that some of the laws cited must wait until the referendum scheduled for the end of 2024.

The Transitional Prime Minister, assisted by several members of the Government, addressed a press conference in Libreville on 18 June.
