Dam Press:
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov confirmed that Moscow does not rule out a technical military response to the United States after Kiev’s army recently attacked Crimea with American cluster missiles.
Ryabkov stressed the need for Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov and US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin to maintain contact in order to warn the United States that Washington’s actions towards Ukraine will have serious consequences.
He added: “Everything depends on the necessities and details of the moment, which reflects the fact that we need to warn Washington that its approach to Ukraine can have serious consequences. Ukraine is completely managed by Washington and receives its orders from there, including those related to the front line.”
“The Russian military is fully aware, and this is something I personally confirmed, of the degree of subservience of the Ukrainian authorities to Washington, so these communications play an important role, and they also take place from time to time through other channels,” he added.
Kiev’s army launched an attack on Sevastopol using five American Atakum missiles, killing four people, including two children, and injuring more than 150 others. Four of the missiles were intercepted by the Russian defense system, and the fifth exploded over the beach.
Russia’s Defense Ministry claimed responsibility for the attack in both Washington and Kiev.
After the terrorist attack, the Russian Foreign Ministry summoned the US Ambassador to Moscow, Lynn Tracy, and briefed her on the consequences of the attack.
