Washington: Minnesota Governor Tim Waltz accepted the Democratic vice presidential nomination on Wednesday (August 21), 11 weeks before he and presidential running mate Kamala Harris face Republican former President Donald Trump in the 2024 US election.
Waltz, 60, an Army veteran and former high school teacher and football coach, will speak about growing up on a Nebraska farm, his family and the freedoms that Democrats say are under attack from Trump, who is running for president for a third time as a Republican.
