The chief explained that a pickup truck was parked on the other side of the fence and was set on fire. “Our house was on fire, that’s it. 1,500 square metres of the dock and warehouse were reduced to ashes.”

An industrial maintenance company next to SFAC was also destroyed by the fire. The company specializes in welding and cutting equipment and has about thirty employees. This campaign has not been at its best in a crisis, which was already there, but on top of that this has been added… We will deal with it, we will endure.” After spending a month and a half defending his station, Gabriel returned home to Mont-Dore, feeling that Ducos once again required vigilance.
