Avtar News:

The vice-principal of a girls’ school in Abadan was murdered by his wife in front of their daughter.

A man from Abadani has been arrested for allegedly killing his wife by throwing her down the stairs.

At 06:00 on Tuesday morning, July 12, we received a call from the Abadan Emergency Center and the police that a young lady named (PS), the executive vice-principal of one of the primary schools, had been thrown down the stairs. Eight days later, the half-living body of the young woman was immediately transferred to the city’s Alawi Hospital, where the young woman was brain dead due to the severity of her injuries. She later died in her hospital bed and was buried in Abadan.

As a result, the deceased’s wife was ordered to be arrested and interrogated by the judicial authorities. Although he claimed that he did not kill his wife, the victim’s family still filed a complaint against him and demanded the arrest of the accused.

During the preliminary investigation of the deceased’s husband, he said: His wife was suffering from an illness and was taking medication. She lost her balance and fell down the stairs. After the incident, the victim’s family denied that their daughter was ill and filed a complaint against their son-in-law, claiming that their 6-year-old granddaughter Avina told her mother’s family that she witnessed a fight between her parents.

The family of the deceased said, “Our daughter and son-in-law were not on good terms. We heard that they had fought several times. We are sure that our child was killed.”

Just like that, the young man was captured and handed over to the Abadan Criminal Intelligence Department for further investigation.

The defendant stated in his statement that I do not accept the charge of murder and that my wife committed suicide by jumping from the stairs.
