He then went to Addis Ababa to complete his secondary education and attended St. Joseph’s School until Grade 12. Next, he joined Addis Ababa University and was accepted into the university.

After independence, he joined the National Assembly as a member of the Eritrean Parliament and started the reconstruction process with his comrades.
Thus, after the annexation of Eritrea, he was appointed as the first prosecutor of the State of Eritrea, laying the foundation for the office and the Ministry of Justice. During the government reshuffle in 1994, Adanoun was appointed as the governor of Saraye District, serving the people with dedication and responsibility.
After administering the Saraye District, he served as Eritrea’s ambassador to Scandinavia. He was later appointed Eritrea’s ambassador to Nigeria.

Since mid-2001, he has no longer been able to see and live in his sacred Motherland, where he is buried and where he paid with his youth, blood, brothers and comrades for his freedom.
He never regretted fighting and struggling until the very last moment of his life!
